Three additional custom built pumpers, designed specifically for use on the public boardwalks and can be driven directly to the fire scene. Chief's VehiclesThe Chief is assigned two vehicles. One specifically designed to be used on all our boardwalks and a second four wheel Kawasaki for use on the roadway and beach and when responding to the Water Island Protection District and Mutual Aid calls.

During a Mutual Aid call, a nine passenger van provides transportation for responding fire department personnel, to and from the fire scene and the staging area; as well as serves as our response vehicle for Mutual Aid calls that request personnel only. |
